Professional Summary
Ann Kruger is a Physical Therapist and a RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional in the department of physical therapy at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. Ann has practiced in a variety of settings, including: rehabilitation, intensive care, general medical acute, adult out-patient, educationally related, and pediatric out-patient. She has provided physical therapy at various locations on the UNMC campus at the Munroe-Meyer Institute and Nebraska Medicine at Clarkson and University Hospitals since 1980. Ann has enjoyed working with individuals with disabilities across the age spectrum for approximately 25 years providing therapy services in the Omaha public schools, MMI out-patient clinics, group home settings, and home based. She is a clinical instructor for physical therapy students and a guest lecturer for the UNMC physical therapy pediatric course assistive technology unit. Ann has volunteered for a variety of department and community activities, including assisting with GoBabyGo! Nebraska! builds for modifying ride on power cars for young children, Special Olympics “Fun Fitness”, YMCA adaptive swim lessons, several adaptive sports, and collaborating with UNL bioengineering students on senior design projects.
