Professional Summary
Kayla Orndorff is a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology specializing in voice at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Kayla earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Wyoming in 2016 and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2021. Throughout her graduate program, she gained experience in schools working with pediatric clients aged 3-18, as well as various clinical observations across outpatient and acute care medical settings. She completed her graduate externship in voice disorders at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute in Summer 2021. Her clinical interests include working with patients with voice disorders across the lifespan, swallowing disorders, Parkinson’s disease and acquired cognitive-communication disorders. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys singing, playing piano, cooking and hanging out with her husband and two golden retrievers.
