Approximately 10 high school students each year participate in the UNMC High School Alliance Program to introduce students to a career in medical speech-language pathology.

High school students also have the opportunity to complete an individual job-shadowing experience with a speech-language pathologist. Job-shadowing times range from two to four hours. Observations can be completed in the following areas:
