Bhavana J Dave, PhD, FACMG

Dr. Dave is a Fellow of the ACMG and is board certified in Clinical Cytogenetics through the ABMGG. She received her PhD from Majaraja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India, in 1990. Her postdoctoral training included three years at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center followed by a Clinical Cytogenetics fellowship at UNMC. Dr. Dave joined the faculty in 1998 and is currently a professor of Pediatrics, MMI, Pathology/Microbiology, and Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy. Her research involves in-depth genetic characterization of lymphomas and leukemias and delineation of the basic mechanisms of genetic abnormalities that eventually leads to better disease management.
