Chromosome analysis, Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH), and Microarray Analysis identify genetic markers with diagnostic and prognostic significance in a wide variety of oncologic specimens, including bone marrow aspirates, peripheral blood, lymph node biopsies, solid tumor tissues, and other body fluids. In addition, this genetic testing is useful to monitor a patient’s response to therapy, as well as to identify genetic changes indicative of disease progression and treatment-related secondary malignancies.
