How to Apply

To be eligible to apply for the program, students must :

Application materials include a personal statement, curriculum vitae, official transcripts, GRE scores, and three letters of recommendation.

The online application system typically opens mid-October.

To apply

  1. Complete the online application. Once you sign in, select ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis’ under ‘Graduate Studies’.
    a) Scroll to the top of the page, and select ‘I am Done, Review My Selections’
    b) When you enter the Dashboard, you will see four selections (Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information, and Program Materials).
    c) Enter the requested information within ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Academic History,’
    d) Under ‘Supporting Information,’ you need only attend to the ‘Licenses and Certifications’ and ‘Release Statement’ sections as the rest of the information should be provided in your CV. For the other information, there is an option to select that you are not adding that information.
    e) Select ‘Program Materials’ and then ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis.’  Select ‘Documents’ at the top of the page.  This is where you will upload your CV and Personal Narrative.  You may also choose to upload your Certification information, Publications, and Unofficial test scores.
    f) Go back to the ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis’ home page within ‘Program Materials’ and then select ‘Evaluations.’  Follow the instructions to enter the information for three references.
  2. Request GRE scores and official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions be sent to the UNMC Graduate Studies Office (UNMC, PO Box 9140, Watertown, MA 02471. The ETS Institution code for UNMC Graduate Studies is 6896). Visit our Admissions page for more details.
  3. In addition to uploading the requested materials, please email Christy Williams a copy of your personal narrative (1-3 pages), your CV, and the name and contact information for each of your references.
