How to Apply

To be eligible to apply for the program, students must be on track to have the following before starting the PhD program

To apply

  1. Visit our Admissions page for more details to complete the online application.
    1. Once you sign in, search ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis PhD’, add the program and ‘Continue’.
    2. When you enter the Dashboard, you will see four selections (Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information, and Program Materials).
    3. Enter the requested information within ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Academic History.’
    4. Under ‘Supporting Information,’ you need only attend to the ‘Licenses and Certifications’ and ‘Release Statement’ sections as the rest of the information should be provided in your CV. For the other information, there is an option to select that you are not adding that information.
    5. Select ‘Program Materials’ and then ‘MSIA: Applied Behavioral Analysis.’  Select the ‘Documents’ tab. This is where you will upload your CV and Personal Statement. You may also choose to upload your certification information, copies of publications, and unofficial test scores.
    6. Select the 'Questions' tab and follow the prompts.
    7. Select the 'References' tab and follow the instructions to enter the information for three references.
  2. Official GRE scores must be sent through ETS (ets.org). The ETS Institution code for UNMC Graduate Studies is 6896.
  3. In addition to uploading the requested materials, please email Dr. Nicole Rodriguez a copy of your personal narrative (1-3 pages), your CV, and the name and contact information for each of your references.
