Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Sachin Kedar is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He graduated medical school in 1998 from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. This was followed by dual residency training in ophthalmology and neurology as well as fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and Clinical Neurophysiology. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Clinical neurophysiology. Prior to his arrival at UNMC, Dr. Kedar was on the faculty at the University of Kentucky where he also served as director of the neurology residency program and neuro-ophthalmology service. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards. Dr. Kedar will be seeing patients in the neuro-ophthalmology clinic at the Truhlsen Eye Institute. He will also direct the ocular electrophysiology lab at TEI. Dr. Kedar’s research interests include Idiopathic intracranial hypertension, optic nerve head morphology and visual disturbances in neuro-degenerative diseases.
