Program Summary: The Cognitive Neuroscience of Development and Aging (CoNDA) Center, a NIH/NIGMS funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) offers research vouchers to pay for services provided by the Research Cores that support data collection for research proposals and stimulate new research directions within the Center’s theme.  Successful applicants will receive services from CoNDA Center cores for up to $5,000 (in $1,000 increments) to be utilized in 1 year.

Funding Objective/Eligibility/Preferences: This Voucher Program will provide access to Core Resources to investigators carrying out promising research aligned with the Center priorities. This program is targeted towards investigators in a faculty position at CoNDA participating institutions (UNMC, UNO, Creighton & Boystown). Preference will be given to investigators eligible to be (or are) a Research Project Leader (junior investigators who have not received peer reviewed R01 level funding from Federal or non-Federal sources as the PI). Applications from underrepresented minorities, including women and people of color are encouraged as outlined in Notice of NIH's Interest in Diversity. Applicants cannot be concurrently funded by another IDeA award (e.g. IDeA-CTR).

Pre-Evaluation from CoNDA Core Directors: Applicants must consult with the Core Directors to ensure feasibility of the proposed project and budget. Use of one or more core is permitted. Core Director(s) will need to review and sign applications (Use Adobe Sign) prior to final submission.
