The Great Plains IDeA-CTR
The Great Plains IDeA-CTR is a $20 million/5 year grant award through the National Institute of General Medicine Sciences to build critical infrastructure for clinical and translational research (CTR) across our region. Headquartered out of UNMC’s Department of Neurological Sciences and led by Dr. Matt Rizzo, the effort spans Nebraska and Dakota institutions, with much broader national links. Since 2016, we have built a robust, networked infrastructure to develop and guide CTR investigators, promote resource sharing, advance team science collaborations, grow biomedical research, improve healthcare literacy, and advance access to care and cures across our communities, especially the medically underserved. The GP IDeA-CTR has many useful resources for investigators and information for community members that can be found here.
