NSIG Faculty Mentor
The Neuroscience Student Interest Group is an organization designed for students who have an appreciation for the brain and interest in neuro-related fields. We host various lunch meetings throughout the school year. Topics range from advances in neuroscience research, lectures and cases regarding neuroscience, and having faculty members come discuss numerous career possibilities. These include neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, neuropathology, and more.
Students should expect to leave the group with more information than they came in with, as well as feeling more prepared to tackle medical school and the residency application process in general.
