The Nebraska chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) will hold its annual simulation clinic on April 7 from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln.

The clinic is open to all juniors and seniors in high school, as well as all undergraduate college students interested in learning what it's like to be a dental student. Participants will view demonstrations and get hands-on experience with preparing and filling teeth, setting denture teeth, and waxing tooth anatomy.

Participants also will tour the college, meet the dean and director of admissions and attend a Q&A with current dental students.

ASDA will sponsor three students to attend the simulation clinic. The sponsorship will cover the entire cost of the clinic and recipients will be chosen based on an essay question.

Anyone interested in registering must do so by March 30. See this year's flyer for more information on how to register and instructions on how to apply for a clinic sponsorship.
