Representatives from the SHARING Clinics will be presenting posters at the 2014 conference of the Society of Student-Run Free Clinics in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend.
The SSRFC promotes and supports student-run clinics, advocating for resources and health policy that benefit patients.
The SHARING Clinics will have nine posters presented at the event.
“The number of posters that were accepted for presentation is very gratifying,” said Elizabeth Pflug of the SHARING Clinics. “The SHARING Clinics have had an impact on the development of student-run free clinics at other academic medical institutions, and this response — every poster that was submitted was accepted — underscores our knowledge and leadership in this important area.”
