[AUDIO LOGO] JILL POOLE: Climate change affects seasonal allergies a lot, so we've seen a lot of changes over the decades and even from a year to year basis. And so this particular year, we've seen an increase in tree pollen that started earlier. And so allergy sufferers are having longer pollen seasons because it starts earlier and ends later, plus then the amount of allergen in the air has been higher. And then that can mix with some of the air pollutants, and that can even potentiate and intensify your allergy symptoms. So these seasonal allergies continue to grow. More and more people have them and the duration and the season is actually longer.
