Michael Smith, MD, in the Division of General Internal Medicine was the person who mentored the residents. The efforts of Dr. Michael Smith and the residents paid off with 10 cases being accepted at the National Society of General Internal Medicine conference and four poster presentations at a Society of Hospital Medicine national meeting.
