The UNMC Board of Counselors recently named 13 new members. The board \u2014 a group of 78 community and business leaders from across the state of Nebraska \u2014 advises UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, on issues of importance related to health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New board members, listed by hometown, include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainsworth:<\/strong> Melvin Campbell, MD, physician serving Brown County and surrounding communities through his private practice and the rural health clinic, Ainsworth Family Clinic   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

David City:<\/strong> Jason Lavicky, president, Bank of the Valley<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lexington:<\/strong> Brady Beecham, MD, family physician and public health professional, Lexington Regional Health Center, and consultant, Remora Health LLC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lincoln:<\/strong> Alec Gorynsk, president and CEO, Lincoln Community Foundation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lincoln:<\/strong> Adam Morfeld, executive director and founder, Civic Nebraska, and former Nebraska state senator<\/p>\n\n\n\n
