The UNMC Interprofessional Academy of Educators is seeking abstracts for the inaugural InnovatED Symposium on Sept. 28, an event that will showcase new innovations in health professions education, including advances in ideas, technology and teaching methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMC faculty, staff and students, along with academy associate and affiliate members, are eligible to\u00a0submit a proposal<\/a>\u00a0for interactive and multifaceted presentations on innovations that can be easily adapted and implemented by attendees. All presentations will be in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potential topics include quality improvement strategies, technology in education and innovative teaching methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for submissions is June 30, and notifications of decisions will be sent in mid-July. Submitted abstracts should be no more than 300 words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The InnovatED Symposium will bring together educators, staff and learners from across Nebraska to share novel and innovative teaching approaches, exchange practical strategies to incorporate right away and foster new collaborations with peers. The daylong symposium on Sept. 28 will be held in the Truhlsen Event Center on the Omaha campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
