Ribbon cut on new Village Pointe Health Center building<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nebraska Medicine cut the ribbon this week on its new facility on the Village Pointe Health Center campus in west Omaha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newest building is on the east side of the campus at 17405 Burke St. It is the fourth building at this site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of the new facility adds several new services to the Village Pointe Health Center, including heart and vascular, orthopaedics, pre-surgical screening, pulmonology and an on-site pharmacy. There also are expanded dermatology offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe opening of this facility provides even greater access to our highly sought-after specialists in another convenient location,\u201d said Michael Ash, MD, Nebraska Medicine’s executive vice president-chief operating officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Said Jim Linder, MD, CEO of Nebraska Medicine, “It takes dedicated teamwork with a lot of special expertise to make it all work right. We\u2019re excited about this ability to expand the services we provide at Village Pointe, to provide a caring environment for our patients and a better work environment for all of our colleagues who provide that care.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking Lot 17 notice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking Lot 17 at 45th Street and Saddle Creek Road will be partially closed to parking from Friday, June 23, through Sunday, June 25, due to a construction project. Equipment will be brought in via a flatbed semi. The parking stalls that will be blocked off are near the AX22 Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Printing services to close for inventory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMC Printing Services will be closed today for inventory. Ordering is available online at this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch vendors on campus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch vendors have been set for the Omaha campus for June. Faculty, staff and students should note the schedule is subject to change, and more vendors are expected to be added over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
