Those who have been unsuccessful with their weight loss attempts within the past 24 months may qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Allurion Balloon is made of a thin plastic membrane and, when placed in the stomach, is designed to take up space and help you feel full. It does not require surgery, endoscopy or anesthesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Involvement in the study will last for 12 months, with participants being randomly assigned to one of two weight loss treatment groups: The Allurion Balloon intervention with a 12-month comprehensive weight loss support program or a program without the Allurion Balloon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All participants in the study will be asked to take part in a 12-month comprehensive weight loss support program overseen by a team of nutritionists, doctors and nurses. Over the course of the year, participants will attend regular study visits to monitor their overall health and receive diet and exercise counseling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the study, participants must be ages 22-65 who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a BMI between 30-40<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are not pregnant or intending to become pregnant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are mobile and can follow an exercise plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least one unsuccessful attempt at weight loss within the past 24 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more about the study, visit the
