Faculty, staff and students are invited to UNMC\u2019s all-campus forum today (Aug. 10). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, will be joined online by UNMC College of Nursing Dean Lepaine Sharp-McHenry, DNP, and Jane Meza, PhD, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs, global engagement and strategic planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum will be from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the new nursing dean and learn more about her initial weeks on campus, along with her goals and vision for the college. Attendees also will receive updates on the chancellor\u2019s recent trip to west central Nebraska, rural health initiatives, the university\u2019s budgeting process and the latest on COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drs. Gold, Sharp-McHenry and Meza will take questions from the audience, and an American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
