The Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health is restarting its popular health fair held in conjunction with the Omaha Women\u2019s Health & Wellness Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the Olson Center is hoping to draw in health fair exhibitors from across the med center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, themed \u201cRadiant Vitality: Celebrating Wellness through Life\u2019s Different Stages,\u201d will be held Friday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the La Vista Conference Center, 12520 Westport Parkway in La Vista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference is in its 26th year. But with the COVID-19 pandemic, the health fair hasn\u2019t been held since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are so happy to be able to offer the health fair again at the upcoming Omaha Women’s Health & Wellness Conference,\u201d said Lana Molczyk, Olson Center resource manager. \u201cSome of our med center partners have exhibited in the past prior to COVID, and others may be exhibiting for the first time this year. The health fair is a wonderful opportunity for Nebraska Medicine clinics to promote their clinical services and educate on specific health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUNMC departments and colleges will have great visibility to promote their educational programs and recruit for research studies. Nebraska Medicine and UNMC clinics and departments are encouraged to have representation at the conference. Please consider joining us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health fair exhibit space is free and open to any Nebraska Medicine and UNMC departments, clinics and programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the conference runs all day, the health fair exhibit times are 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., with set up available from 6:30-7:45 a.m. This scheduling is intended to allow clinic personnel to exhibit at the conference and then return for afternoon clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibit space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To register as an exhibitor, complete the attached form<\/a> with the names and titles of the people who will be booth attendees at the conference. If electricity is needed, a $25 fee will need to be paid by the applicable department. The health fair exhibit does not provide a conference registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
