Gold, MD, is speaking out on the importance of the future of innovation as part of the Council on Competitiveness\u2019 Competing in the Next Economy campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the organization\u2019s video campaign, Dr. Gold declares in a new post: \u201cThe way we\u2019re going to accelerate innovation and, therefore, competitiveness in our nation and on the global stage is by cutting free and liberating the future workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See this link to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ep95XpVzQ6A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Gold\u2019s video on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Gold, who also serves as executive vice president and\u00a0provost for the University of Nebraska System, explains how the NU system is advancing the heath care workforce.
