{"id":105097,"date":"2023-11-10T01:52:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T07:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=105097"},"modified":"2023-11-09T14:22:49","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T20:22:49","slug":"employee-giving-campaign-prizes-are-on-the-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2023\/11\/10\/employee-giving-campaign-prizes-are-on-the-way\/","title":{"rendered":"Employee giving campaign prizes are on the way"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\">\n<p>At 3 p.m. today (Nov. 10), the UNMC Employee Giving Committee will draw prize winners for the first week of the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week&#8217;s prizes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two tickets to the Nov. 24 Husker football game;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two $25 Visa gift cards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A $50 Visa gift card; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UNMC\/United Way Swag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>UNMC employees who pledge&nbsp;a minimum of $15 total&nbsp;will be eligible for the prizes listed above. Information on how to donate is listed below. After employees pledge, they are entered in all weekly drawings. Winners will be notified via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The running totals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 4 p.m. Thursday, UNMC achieved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Donations of $40,604<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee participation of 4%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To participate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See these instructions for more details on donating. For additional security purposes, a few changes have been made since last year\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>United Way of the Midlands:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/go.unmc.edu\/uwmidlands\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>. The link will lead to a single UNMC sign-in page.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees can sign in with their UNMC username and password.&nbsp;These should auto populate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once signed in, the employee will be directed to a personalized giving page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u201cno pledge\u201d option is available for employees who choose not to donate. Employees who are unable to contribute still are encouraged to access the ePledge website and submit a \u201cno donation\u201d response.&nbsp;<strong>A \u201cno donation\u201d response counts toward total employee participation.<\/strong>&nbsp;After an employee has submitted a donation or no donation response, United Way will no longer send additional giving emails this month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Give Nebraska:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.givenebraska.org\/unmc-donate-page.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>. The link will lead to UNMC\u2019s Give Nebraska donation page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register and donate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees can give by credit card on the online giving site, as well as through payroll deduction, cash or check. Campaign pledges, which can be made through UNMC\u2019s payroll deduction, are automatically withdrawn from the last check in December 2023 for biweekly paid employees and January 2024 for employees
