The webinars are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>April 10, via Zoom:\u00a0Speaker Cynthia Clark, PhD, will discuss \u201cAchieving Civility Excellence. Best Practices to Foster Healthy Work Environments.&#8221;\u00a0Dr. Clark is a professor emeritus at Boise State University, founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/research-ott\/civility-matters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Civility Matters<\/a> and an award-winning scholar and author.\u00a0She will offer a dynamic experience exploring the relationship between workplace stress, aggression and maladaptive communication styles.\u00a0This includes a conversation regarding elevated stress levels, which may contribute to incivility and bullying behaviors.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>April 17, via Zoom: \u201cWhen the Helper Needs Help:&nbsp;Understanding and Managing Secondary Traumatic Stress.\u201d&nbsp;Speaker Stephen Lassen, PhD, professor of pediatrics and psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Kansas Medical Center, will discuss communication and debriefing strategies essential for creating a supportive environment in the aftermath of critical incidents.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>April 24, via Zoom: \u201cMindful Communication, Peace of Mind.\u201d&nbsp;Speaker Meg Trewhitt, nurse practitioner at the Fred &amp; Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, will discuss communication skills and strategies that promote collegiality, teamwork and functionality.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These activities are designed for nurses and other interested health care professionals, and continuing education will be offered.
