The UNMC Interprofessional Academy of Educators is holding a Spotlight on Scholarship event, where a variety of health sciences education research will be highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The live event will be held Thursday, March 28, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Durham Research Center auditorium. RSVP for the event<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event will feature three projects presented live and more than 10 poster presentations covering a range of education research topics. View presentation information and authors.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also will include a presentation to Betsy Becker, DPT, PhD, associate professor and chair of the UNMC Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, for receiving the Distinguished Educator designation from the Interprofessional Academy of Educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Becker is the first individual to receive the Distinguished Educator designation, which is the highest honor in academy membership. It is awarded to a faculty member who consistently demonstrates excellence in teaching and peer mentoring to promote the development of the next generation of effective and innovative teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
