Laura Wilwerding, MD, will present \u201cNutritional Needs of Breastfed Babies from Birth to Weaning\u201d on Tuesday, April 9, at noon via Zoom. This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Wilwerding, an adjunct professor of pediatrics at\u00a0UNMC, will discuss supplement consideration and needs during the breastfeeding period, clarify appropriate first complementary foods based on nutritional needs and developments and review the balance of breastfeeding and solids after one year and when in-process of fully weaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a free event and open to\u00a0health care providers and\u00a0the community. Nursing and lactation consultant credits are available at no cost.
