The month of May was recognized in Nebraska as Pediatric Feeding Disorder Awareness Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed the proclamation in mid-May to recognize families navigating pediatric feeding disorders and create awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the Munroe-Meyer Institute\u2019s Pediatric Feeding Department \u2014 Lindsey Elson, Daniel Shriver, Myah Snell and Jenn Kozisek \u2014 were at the Nebraska State Capitol for the governor\u2019s signing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe proclamation is an important step for Nebraska citizens to access care and learn more about pediatric feeding disorders,\u201d said Elson, who works in the pediatric feeding department. \u201cIt will hopefully encourage others to join our efforts and support these children and their families.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
