Additionally, I felt becoming a physician would enable me to have a long, fulfilling career where I would be able to positively impact many people&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What made you choose anesthesiology?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I chose anesthesiology because I liked the combination of cerebral and procedural components. I also really liked taking care of patients perioperatively through what can be a very stressful time for them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>List three accomplishments you are proud of:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Playing baseball at North Dakota State University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gaining acceptance to medical school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matching into anesthesiology at UNMC!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Three things about you that others may not know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I played baseball for six years after college including one winter in Australia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I am, unfortunately, a big Minnesota professional sports fan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I am really passionate about hot sauce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<a
