This prestigious award is given six times a year and can be won only once by each individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Managerial professional and office service employees are eligible for the Chancellor\u2019s Commendation Gold \u201cU\u201d Award. Faculty and administrative staff are not eligible for this award. Recipients of the Gold \u201cU\u201d Award also receive recognition at the University of Nebraska Board of Regents meeting and the Kudos certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Silver \u201cU\u201d Award&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Silver \u201cU\u201d Award is given annually to about 72 managerial professional, office services, graduate assistants and other academic employees whose overall performance is above and beyond the scope of their position.&nbsp;Nominations for the Silver \u201cU\u201d Award should highlight how the employee demonstrates one or more of the UNMC ITEACH values through a direct or supporting role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to nominate a colleague:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify a deserving colleague or co-worker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.peopleareeverything.com\/unmc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">People Are Everything<\/a>\u00a0for more information about each award\u2019s criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a nomination through People Are Everything.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s come together to celebrate the exceptional talent and
