The Munroe-Meyer Institute once again is teaming up with Autism Eats, a national organization that helps families experience judgment-free dining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sensory friendly dining experience is set for Oct. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Zio\u2019s Pizzeria, near 129th Street and West Center Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families can pre-register and pre-pay at autismeats.org<\/a>. Cost is $16 for adults and $10 for children under 10. The cost includes tax and tip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial assistance may be available. There is no registration deadline, but reservations are capped at 65 diners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food will be served buffet-style, with a menu including pizza, salad, chicken strips, fries, soda and dessert. Halloween candy will be available, and costumes are encouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building is fully accessible, and dinner will be served in a private party room, which accommodates 70 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
