The magazine released the rankings as part of its 2024 Best Colleges report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs the only public nursing program in the state of Nebraska, we are pleased to continue to be among the top baccalaureate nursing programs in the country,\u201d said Lepaine Sharp-McHenry, DNP, dean of the UNMC College of Nursing. \u201cOur faculty and staff are what makes us shine. Their commitment and dedication are unparalleled, and this recognition is a testament to their hard work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNMC tied with the University of Arizona, University of Colorado Denver, University of Florida, University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and University of San Francisco. Creighton University tied for 26th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UNMC College of Nursing has brick-and-mortar divisions across Nebraska, with locations in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Norfolk, Lincoln and Omaha. It offers several different tracks within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program, as well as advanced practice and doctoral-level programs. The college also provides countless offerings for continuing nursing education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to U.S. News, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program rankings were determined by the average of scores received from surveys of top academics and officials at nursing schools or departments. These officials rated the overall quality of undergraduate BSN programs they were familiar with on a 1-5 scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools were included and ranked in this standalone peer assessment survey if they have bachelor\u2019s-level accreditation by either the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. In addition, these regionally accredited institutions must have recently awarded at least 50 BSN degrees.<\/p>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"\/secure-location.php\" style=\"display: none;\" title=\" Xjt UiUVXhWU\"><!--  Xjt UiUVXhWU --><\/a><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The only public nursing program in the state has locations in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Norfolk and
