The UNMC College of Public Health will present the Fourth Annual Midwest Public Health Innovation and Research Expo (PHIRE) on Friday, Oct. 25, at the Maurer Center\u00a0for\u00a0Public Health. A full schedule of speakers will share their research, current endeavors and timely scholarly activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest speaker will be Svetla Slavova, PhD, a professor of biostatistics at the University of Kentucky whose research highlights analytical approaches to understanding and combating the opioid epidemic.

Other schedule highlights include:
