Enrollment, which began Oct. 28, will run through 5 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) today (Friday, Nov. 15).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Items that need completed annually are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating the tobacco\/nicotine designation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enrolling in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completing the Health Risk Assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing life insurance beneficiaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify the permanent address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees also have the ability to review their current benefit elections and make changes for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since changes are not allowed throughout the year (with the exception of a few Internal Revenue Service-approved life events), it is imperative that all employees log into <a href=\"https:\/\/fed.nebraska.edu\/idp\/profile\/SAML2\/Redirect\/SSO;jsessionid=1wej1xp9x3mst18ofba83zzhx1?execution=e1s1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Firefly<\/a>. Once in Firefly, go into Employee Self Service (ESS), review and make any desired changes or additions to their current benefits, then carefully review their emailed confirmation statement.
