The UNMC Nebraska Center for Women\u2019s Health Research is accepting applications for funding innovative and significant projects focusing on women\u2019s health research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center aims to sponsor high-quality, novel research to foster the development of promising early-stage projects and encourage their transition to securing external funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One-year pilot project awards of up to $25,000 will be funded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All University of Nebraska faculty members with an academic appointment at or above the level of instructor are eligible to apply for this funding. All principal investigators must be members of the Nebraska Center for Women\u2019s Health Research. If anyone is not a member, register at this link<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projects must focus on some aspect of women\u2019s health-related research. This request for applications aims to help initiate pilot studies that have the potential to develop into nationally funded, high-impact research projects. Priority will be given to collaborative projects with the highest scientific merit, which advance the goals of the Nebraska Center for Women\u2019s Health Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal investigators cannot request contributions to their salary, and those who previously received pilot project funding from the center are not eligible to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
