Join the Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at noon for the next Wellness Through Doing presentation, which will cover scrapbooking basics, techniques and creative ideas for starting a project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking to capture memories from the holidays or a once-in-a-lifetime vacation? Want to preserve memories of special family members for generations to come?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrapbooking is a craft that combines photographs, memorabilia, journaling and decorative elements to preserve memories and stories. Its history can be traced back to ancient times, but today\u2019s modern scrapbooking began to take shape in the early 1980s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenter Jennifer Harmon, who works in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center-Nebraska Medical Center, is a longtime scrapbooker. Harmon has developed an eye for detail, composition and storytelling, and these skills serve her well as she evolves and expands as a nature photographer, building her business Nana Shoots Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation will be available virtually; the Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
