As late-February brings us some frigid temperatures, I want to extend a warm welcome back to UNMC for the spring semester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This semester\u2019s newsletter is packed with exciting news and updates. We celebrated the accomplishments of nearly 70 August and December graduates at our December convocation ceremony<\/a>. In the Student Spotlight, you’ll meet Dalton Staller<\/a>, a PhD candidate in IGPBS \u2013 Integrative Physiology and Molecular Medicine. This month’s video takes you inside the UNMC Center for Healthy Living<\/a>, showcasing its expanded services, including personal training. We’ll also explore how digital badges and microcredentials<\/a> can enhance your professional development. Join us March 26-27 for UNMC\u2019s annual giving day, For the Greater Good 2025<\/a>! Your support makes a real difference. And be sure to check out the calendar of upcoming events to stay connected with the Graduate Studies community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As UNMC navigates ongoing changes, we encourage you to prioritize your well-being. We deeply appreciate all that you do \u2013 from conducting groundbreaking research and caring for Nebraskans’ health, to pursuing your academic goals. UNMC leadership, led by UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, is working closely with University of Nebraska President Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, to navigate these changes and, most importantly, advocate for our students and university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
