This framework \u2013 built on five foundational pillars \u2013 will serve as a roadmap to guide the university\u2019s future growth and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The five pillars include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Teaching and Learning<\/strong> \u2013 Enhancing innovative and inclusive educational experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Research and Creative Activity<\/strong> \u2013 Driving discovery and innovation to address key challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Partnerships and Engagement<\/strong> \u2013 Expanding collaboration across Nebraska and beyond.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Culture and Environment<\/strong> \u2013 Fostering an inclusive and supportive university community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Stewardship and Effectiveness<\/strong> \u2013 Maximizing resources for long-term impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>President Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, has emphasized the importance of broad participation in shaping this plan, noting that every university department, program and partnership will play a role in its success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a pivotal moment for the University of Nebraska,\u201d Dr. Gold said. \u201cYour input will help ensure that our strategic plan reflects the priorities, ideas and aspirations of our university community. I encourage you to share your thoughts as we work together to create an extraordinary future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Said UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD: \u201cThe voices of our UNMC community and the entire NU system shape our future trajectory, and your voice has never been more important. As we examine ways to grow toward extraordinary together, I encourage every member of UNMC to engage in this process and have an active role in planning our success.
