The Global Center for Health Security at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine has released its annual report, highlighting the center\u2019s proactive research in health security, active response to biosecurity threats and cutting-edge innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 annual report covers such areas as development of the patient-containment system known as the Isolation System for Treatment and Agile Response for High-Risk Infections, UNMC\u2019s role in the National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center and the GCHS\u2019s international health emergency activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his opening message, John Lowe, PhD, director of the Global Center for Health Security, wrote: \u201cThe continued success of GCHS would not be possible without the dedication of our team and the support of our partners. Together, we will continue advancing health security, shaping global responses and fostering the next generation of experts.
