Cole Holderjano, an MD\/PhD trainee who works in Dr. Scot Ouellette\u2019s laboratory, won the Jane E. Raulston Award for Best Graduate Student Poster Presentation at the Chlamydia Basic Research Society meeting that was held in Berlin in March 2025. The title of his presentation was: \u201cChromosomally encoded RpoC_10xH: a new tool for investigation of the chlamydial transcriptome.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two IPID trainees won awards at the 56th Annual Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum (MSBRF). Dylan George won third place in the oral presentation division through his presentation entitled \u201cA novel fingerstick blood immunoassay used in a Nebraska community-based study highlights vaccination as a major driver of SARS-CoV-2 humoral immunity.\u201d Gabrielle Schulze won second place in the poster division for \u201cIdentification of arginine transporters in Staphylococcus aureus.\u201d Dylan and Gabrielle work in the laboratories of Drs.
