{"id":122837,"date":"2025-06-10T01:56:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T06:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=122837"},"modified":"2025-06-09T11:47:03","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T16:47:03","slug":"register-for-final-fit-testing-of-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/06\/10\/register-for-final-fit-testing-of-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Register for final fit testing of 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\">\n<p>Colleagues whose job description requires them to be fitted to an N95 respirator must complete an annual respirator fit test in 2025, per OSHA standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mobile Health Diagnostics will be on site in August to fit colleagues at Nebraska Medical Center, Bellevue Medical Center and Village Pointe Health Center:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aug. 18-25:\u00a0<\/strong>Nebraska Medical Center, Kiewit Tower, Room 0908.\u00a0Bring employee badge to access this location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aug. 26-27:\u00a0<\/strong>Village Pointe Health Center, 111 building, level two, conference room 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aug. 28-29:&nbsp;<\/strong>Bellevue Medical Center, ground level, conference rooms A and B.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the final fit testing opportunity of 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following individuals are eligible to attend a Mobile Health Diagnostics fit testing session:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nebraska Medicine colleagues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dually employed colleagues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UNMC employees who work at Village Pointe Health Center or Bellevue Medical\u00a0Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who are not eligible to attend include all other UNMC employees, as well as contractors. UNMC employees should continue to schedule fit testing through Employee Health. Contracted staff must continue completing any fit testing requirements through their contracting agency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to register<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible colleagues can register for a fit testing appointment with Mobile Health Diagnostics through Apollo. The August session is open for registration. Colleagues with an appointment who are unable to arrive on time should anticipate having to wait until they can be worked in or having to reschedule. Colleagues unable to make their scheduled appointment should withdraw from their session within Apollo to allow another colleague to schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colleagues who walk in for an
