UNMC Human Resources clarified the process for employees to follow.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNMC has received clarification from payroll and HR administration concerning the declared leave for Thursday, July 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employees will need to submit a \u201cDeclared Leave\u201d request for July 3 in Firefly\/ESS Self Service. (See image below.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees who were required to work due to operational needs, such as public safety, patient care and educational responsibilities, may use \u201cDeclared Leave\u201d on another day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employees who submitted vacation leave or floating\/banked leave for July 3 need to cancel request in Firefly\/ESS Self Service before filing for declared leave.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"508\" height=\"239\"
