The symposium is free, but registration is required by July 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentations and speakers are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8220;Introduction to Cell Therapy: How It Started and Where It\u2019s Going,&#8221; Matthew Lunning, DO, associate professor in the UNMC Division of Hematology\/Oncology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Biologics Production Facility Considerations,&#8221; Scott Koepsell, MD, PhD, vice chair of clinical operations in the UNMC Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Coordination Considerations,&#8221; Amy Fitzgerald and Sarah Snook, clinical research nurse coordinators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Institutional Biosafety Committee Considerations,&#8221; Jenna McKenzie, PhD, biosafety officer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Minimizing Financial Risk&#8221;<strong> <\/strong>Veronica Hernandez, Lisa Hughes-Potter, Toree Pruett and Lara Uphoff, of the Clinical Research Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Supported by funding from the ISCORE (IDeA States Consortium for Clinical Research) Resource Center, the symposium is designed for research professionals who include investigators, nurse coordinators, clinical research coordinators, research finance and others involved in the conduct of cellular therapy trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/UNMC.ISCORE-RC_Cellular-Therapy-Symposium_Event-Flyer-07.31.2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"See accreditation information at this link., opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See accreditation information at this link.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions? <a href=\"mailto:vgreenlee@unmc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Email Tori Greenlee, opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Email Tori Greenlee<\/a>.
