This individual exceeds expectations through leadership, fosters the spread of medical knowledge, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and colleagues, and contributes substantially to their community through service and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nebraska Medical Association will celebrate award winners during the NMA Annual Membership Meeting and the Physician Appreciation Luncheon and Presidential Inauguration on Aug. 22 in Lincoln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>-Ellen Jeffries, UNMC Department of Family Medicine<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pharmacy announces preceptors of the year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UNMC College of Pharmacy has announced its preceptors of the year for 2024-25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morgan Pritchard, PharmD, antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska, was named Preceptor of the Year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bryan Health in Lincoln was named Preceptor Site of the Year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nathan Sutera, PharmD, clinical assistant professor of pharmacy practice and science, pharmacy coordinator, psychiatry, Nebraska Medicine, was named Faculty Preceptor of the Year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Awards were presented at the college\u2019s annual honors convocation ceremony. Preceptors are practicing professionals who oversee experiential learning at clinical sites across the state.
