UNMC\u2019s funded e-learning program<\/a> is seeking the next wave of innovative faculty, student and staff to create interactive modules that transform health sciences curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An online informational meeting about the 2025-26 program will be held Friday, Sept.5, from noon to 1 p.m. for those interested in applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will collaborate in teams \u2014 made up of two to four students led by a faculty member \u2014 to design multimedia educational modules that address foundational or challenging course content. Each team will receive $1,000 for project development or student stipends, along with access to equipment, software and expert e-learning support to guide them through the development process.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMore than 800 students, faculty and staff have participated in our funded program, producing over 300 interactive modules that make complex content engaging and easier to understand,\u201d said Peggy Moore, director of interactive e-learning and assistant professor in the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFaculty gain access to resources that help bring their expertise to life, and students gain hands-on experience that strengthens residency applications and supports their future career goals in the health sciences,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
