The Tissue Sciences Facility has significantly upgraded its digital pathology operations with the addition of a new scanner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ember Eldridge, TSF supervisor, said the Hamamatsu NanoZoomer S360 Digital Slide Scanner was brought in this summer and already is making a difference. The Hamamatsu offers high-throughput scanning of up to 82 slides per hour and accommodates up to 360 slides in a single batch. She said the old digital scanner could handle only five slides at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
