{"id":126504,"date":"2025-10-09T01:56:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T06:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=126504"},"modified":"2025-10-08T14:29:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T19:29:48","slug":"next-employee-appreciation-event-set-for-oct-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/10\/09\/next-employee-appreciation-event-set-for-oct-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Next employee appreciation event set for Oct. 23"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\">\n<p>UNMC Human Resources invites all UNMC employees to the quarterly employee appreciation event on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Center for Healthy Living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cHere\u2019s Looking At You\u201d event celebrates all UNMC employees, highlighting the dedication, innovation and hard work that have driven UNMC\u2019s continued success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From behind-the-scenes excellence to frontline leadership, the event will spotlight the amazing people who make it all happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEach UNMC employee brings strengths, perspectives and passion that drive our organization,&#8221; said Austin Larson, learning and development specialist with UNMC Human Resources. &#8220;Thank you for the work that you do.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All UNMC employees are encouraged to attend this quarter\u2019s event, which will feature academic unit booths, food and drink samples, entertainment, opportunities for prizes and more. At 2:15 p.m., employees can hear from Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, and Linda Cunningham, assistant vice chancellor and director of human resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers play an integral role in the success of this event and are encouraged to sign up to assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Volunteers are at the heart of our campus community,&#8221; Cunningham said. &#8220;Their generosity, time and spirit of service make UNMC a better place for all of us.
