Select shows include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&#8220;The Life and Music of George Michael,&#8221; <\/strong>Oct. 24<strong>. <\/strong>This new concert-style show chronicles the journey George Michael had with music and his fans. The show captures the performance and sound of the iconic artist with staging and lighting while telling his story through early music hits from Wham! and his illustrious solo career. &#8220;The Life and Music of George Michael&#8221;\u00a0celebrates the performance and sound of one of the biggest international stars of our time, including hits \u201cWake Me Up Before You Go Go,\u201d \u201cFreedom,\u201d \u201cFaith,\u201d \u201cCareless Whisper\u201d and \u201cFather Figure.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Menopause The Musical 2,&#8221; <\/strong>Oct. 25<strong>.<\/strong> The sequel to the smash-hit &#8220;Menopause The Musical&#8221; is here, with a hilarious and heartfelt look at the joys of menopause and friendship, set to parodied hits from the &#8217;70s, &#8217;80s and &#8217;90s. Five years after their chance encounter in a department store, the story sets sail with the beloved ladies for more hijinks on the high seas. For them, menopause was not the end, but the beginning of a beautiful friendship where love conquers all, and friendships never fail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Elmo and Friends Say Hello,&#8221;<\/strong> Oct. 29. Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and more friends from Sesame Street are coming to Omaha to say hello. Play, dance and sing with all the favorite characters from the show in a live experience. This is a sensory-inclusive performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;Stop Making Sense,&#8221; <\/strong>Nov. 2. The 1984 film &#8220;Stop Making Sense&#8221; was directed by renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme and is considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time. Starring members of the band Talking Heads, the live performance was shot at Hollywood\u2019s Pantages Theater and features the band\u2019s most memorable songs. This live event will feature a public screening of the re-release, newly restored in 4K to coincide with its 40<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary, hosted by band member Jerry Harrison with post-screening comments and an audience Q&amp;A.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;<span>The Silent Comedy<\/span>,&#8221;<\/strong> Nov. 14. The brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman are bringing their band, The Silent Comedy, to Omaha. With years of touring under their belts, this band mixes the sounds of the blues, honky-tonk and punk, and is sure to bring a memorable show to the Holland. Their songs are rough-hewn, expansive American rock and roll.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Straight No Chaser,<\/strong> Nov. 14. For more than two decades, Straight No Chaser has provided the soundtrack of the season, bringing millions of fans to their feet while putting them in the holiday spirit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&#8220;<span>A Motown Christmas<\/span>,&#8221; <\/strong>Nov. 15. Bringing an all-star cast of picks from Motown\u2019s most legendary groups, &#8220;A Motown Christmas&#8221; blends Christmas classics with hits from the groups Ali Woodson\u2019s Temptations, The Miracles, The Contours and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0&#8220;<strong>The Wiz,&#8221;<\/strong> Nov. 18-23. The Tony Award-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back. &#8220;The Wiz&#8221; returns to stages across America in an all-new Broadway tour, the first one in 40 years. This groundbreaking twist on &#8220;The Wizard of Oz&#8221; changed the face of Broadway \u2013 from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock and &#8217;70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy\u2019s journey to find her place in a contemporary world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Boney James, <\/strong>Nov. 21. Saxophonist and composer Boney James blends his distinctive style in new ways with the release of &#8220;Slow Burn.&#8221; With a mix of jazz standards and fresh compositions, James connects with the audience and brings a high-level contemporary jazz performance to the stage. Originally a clarinet player, James switched to saxophone when he was 10 and never looked back.
