Kendra Gonzalez, a licensed mental health practitioner with Nebraska Medicine, will present \u201cStarting Fresh: Practical Self-Care and Wellness Strategies for the New Year\u201d at the next Olson Center Brown Bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gonzalez, a psychotherapist with the Nebraska Medicine Patient-Centered Medical Home, will start the Olson Center\u2019s 2026 brown bag series by guiding attendees through a reflective process to evaluate their health and wellness from the past year and identify areas for improvement in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session will explore evidence-based self-care strategies from physical, mental, emotional and social perspectives that reduce stress and promote balance. Attendees will leave with practical tools to set realistic, sustainable goals for the year ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This virtual event will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, from noon to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Register through Engage<\/a>, contact the Olson Women\u2019s Health Resource Center at by email <\/a>or call 402-559-6345. Viewing instructions will be sent to those registered prior to the brown bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Nebraska Medical Center and Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team. The University of Nebraska Medical Center designates this activity for 1.0 ANCC contact hour. Nurses should only claim credit for the actual time spent participating in the activity. Course ID: 26OL00002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
