I enjoy that my research challenges me while keeping my focus centered on discoveries that can ultimately help patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you want to do after you graduate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduation, I plan to establish myself as an educator, serving as an undergraduate professor to help students build a strong foundation in science and pursue advanced education. I also plan to remain active in pancreatic cancer research through patient-focused studies, advocacy and independent investigation. My ultimate career goal is to continue promoting the study of pancreatic cancer through research, mentoring and teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why did you choose UNMC for your graduate education?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I chose UNMC for my graduate education because of its patient-focused and collaborative nature. I believe the reason for doing this research should always have the patient at the forefront, and this university truly reflects that value through its mission and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is on your bucket list?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I truly enjoy traveling and being in nature, so one thing on my bucket list is to visit all the national parks in the United States with my husband.
