Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, is inviting UNMC faculty, staff and students to a special all-campus forum today (Jan. 27) to discuss and answer questions related to the governance of Nebraska Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the University of Nebraska Board of Regents\u2019 Jan. 15 vote to accept Clarkson Regional Health Services\u2019 offer to assume sole-governance, the two entities Thursday (Jan. 22) announced a reconstituted interim board of directors for Nebraska Medicine. On Tuesday, Dr. Davies will update the campus community, including next steps in moving toward a sole-governance structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005. The forum also will be available via Zoom; the link can be found on the campus intranet<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees may ask questions during the forum or in advance by emailing the UNMC Strategic Communications team<\/a>. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
